Long-standing club member made Honorary Olympian

We are delighted to announce that our very own Robert Rogerson has been made an Honorary Olympian.

Since the clubs formation in 1981, (founding member) only a handful of members have been awarded this honour: Kris Robertson, Stuart Kerr, Gerrard McConnell, Ada Stewart and now ROBERT ROGERSON.

Despite numerous challenges over the years, Robert has led the club through all manner of crisis through to the current pandemic.

His hard work, dedication, moral compass, selflessness, to not only the Ko’s, but to Scottish athletics in general, merits more than this accolade; but for now:

Simply put, Robert is Kirkintilloch Olympians.
